Margaret Browne was the first of six children borne to Leslie Browne and wife Jessie (nee Sullivan) She was born in Condoblin in 1936, with younger siblings Colin John Browne, Ronald Leslie Browne, Ian Bert Browne, Noel Browne and Glenise Ruth Browne.
